Materials

The foam backing on the crown has begun to degrade, and while mostly holding its shape still, it crumbles easily with any contact or movement.

Notes

Conservation took place, and the foam was carefully cleaned out. However, there is still quite a bit of evidence of devil's dust, so keeping it isolated in a clear bag is recommended to protect other items from the loose foam particulates. The structure of the object is still structurally sound.
