Faux-leather cover 2000 pocket diary/planner, branded to A-1 Tire & Battery Service, on the occasion of their 30th anniversary.
Features: A pocket diary/planner for the year 2000. Cover is a textured black faux-leather material with clear internal pockets to secure to the card cover of the diary. On the front cover is printed in silver: "2000; A-1 TIRE & BATTERY SERVICE; NISKU (780) 955-2767; SOUTH SIDE (780) 432-0251; 30TH ANNIVERSARY; 2000". The back cover is plain. On the interior of the cover are clear pockets which secure the card cover of the diary. The interior of the font card cover (seen through the clear pocket) has a full calendar of the years 2000 and 2001. Page one of the diary is an information page for the owner to enter their personal contact information. The last page of the diary offers space for telephone numbers and addresses. On the interior of the back cover (seen through the clear pocket) is a timezone map of North America. The interior of the diary features the following elements: travel tips; dated weekly planner paged; maps of key US airports; first aid; 800 toll-free phone numbers; and important dates. The diary is heavily used, with inscriptions on nearly every page. Internal diary pages have come free of the front cover and is loose inside the cover.
Included are also two paper inserts (one receipt and one business card). Photographed in-situ and accessioned as parts of the diary.
The receipt is for Peavey Mart (5301 Discovery Way, Leduc, AB, T9E8N4), for the purchase of three "DISC CUTTING 4-1/2X.45X7/8" for $1.99. Dated to 08/01/2013.
The business card is for Don Penney at The Penney factor Inc., an art broker in Red Deer, Alberta.Collection

Paper of the the diary/planner ranges in wear depending on location. Some pages are in good condition, while others a heavy worn resulting in the material deteriorating and softening.
Notable creasing on front and back pages, and light warping of paper throughout. All pages heavily bumped and rounded.
Front cover is warped, and the plastic has become brittle, cracking around the spine with small some parts missing.Structure
Interior pages of the diary/planner have become separated from the cover and sits loose. Otherwise the pages are structurally sound.Parts
