A medium-sized photographic print, with a white border. The image is of TWO ladies seated facing the camera. The ladies in the image are Mary McIntyre (Calgary ADDC member) and Carol Rugg (Calgary ADDC member). Description: In the foreground is the first lady, dressed in a red long-sleeve top with a white and red hat corsage/brooch (similar to one in our collection, 2004.2.206). She is seated in a tall-back red chair, at a small square table, eating a grapefruit (or similar citrus fruit), and is looking at the camera. The table has a pale-yellow tablecloth, on which are a coffee/tea decanter, tea/coffee cup and saucer, two brown-glass cups, salt and pepper dispensers, a bowl with a cantaloupe in it, and a bowl of condiments. To the right-of-frame in the background is the second lady, dressed in a short-sleeve white/cream top, with a long, double-loop pearl necklace and a similar corsage/brooch to the first lady. She is seated on one of two red-orange couches with white/cream trim. Behind her is a tall table lamp. In the centre-background is the second couch, above which is a framed piece of artwork. To the left-of-frame is visible tan and red flower-patterned drapes. The walls are white/cream and the floor is red carpet. Accompanying the photograph (via proximity on the scrapbook page and context) is a white adhesive label with the typewritten text "Region VII Meeting, Calgary; Mary McIntyre, Calgary member; Carol Rugg, Calgary member". Taken during a 1972 Association of Desk and Derrick Clubs of North America meeting, likely the Region VII annual meeting in Calgary (26-28 May 1972). Format: Landscape, colour, with white border.
