Description

A small, wallet-sized photographic print, with a white border and attached printed promotional material. This is a smaller print of another item in the collection (2004.2.301).The image is of TWO women exchanging a wrapped gift. Description: A scene of Lillias Ferguson (ADDC Region VII Director, Edmonton; dressed in a matching pale-yellow circle-design patterned dress and jacket combination) and Elizabeth Pickard (ADDC 1973 Region VII Director, Denver; dressed in a short-sleeved white dress, with blue and white floral corsage, and name tag) exchanging a large wrapped gift (pink and blue stripped) with a blue ribbon on top. Mildred Brennan (ADDC Region VIII Director; dressed in a yellow flower and blue striped dress with a white cardigan over top) can also be partially seen, mostly hidden by Lillias' arm and the gift. Behind them is a white wall with tan-peach curtains. Attached with a tear-away perforation is a section of white photo-paper reading "BONUS PHOTO; exclusive with KING SIZED PHOTO SERVICE; CANADIAN PATENT 1970 AND PAT. PEND.; FOR YOUR WALLET". Format: Square with attachment, colour, with white border. Print Finish: Gloss Print Brand: Kodak Taken during the 1972 Twenty-First Annual Convention of the Association of Desk and Derrick Clubs of North America, in Tulsa, Oklahoma (7-9 September 1972). A piece of the wrapping paper shown in the photograph has been preserved as part of the scrapbook, and can be found in the collection (2004.2.300). An alternate shot of the same scene can also be found in the collection (2004.2.380). Part of a collection of objects scrapbooked in 1972 by Lillias Ferguson (2004.2.1).
