Description

A large-sized photographic print, with a white border. The image is of a FOUR ladies seated at a banquet table, with a Dr Fudd's magic Elixir wagon centrepiece. Description: Four women seated at a banquet table, from left-to-right: Ruby Wilson (ADDC Region V Director) dressed in a patterned long-sleeved dress with wide patterned waste design and wearing a name tag with "ADDC OFFICER" ribbon; Jean Wieneke (ADDC Region VI Director) dressed in a sleeveless top/dress with two metallic buttons on the collar, and wearing a name tag with "ADDC OFFICER" ribbon and glasses on a chain; Lillias Ferguson (ADDC Region VII Director) dressed in black top under a white with black striped sweater/jacket, along with a name tag with "ADDC OFFICER" ribbon and white ribbon corsage; and an unidentified women (likely another Regional Director) dressed in a black and white checker and square patterned long-sleeved top, with a brooch and no name tag. On the table in front of the ladies is a spread of small plates with food, goblet-style drinking glasses, tea/coffee cups and saucers, condiments, and a Dr. Fudd's Magic Elixir wagon centrepiece (in reference to the booked entertainment at the event). Behind the women is a light coloured wall with ornamental decoration around a large windows, which as light coloured curtains and dark coloured drapes. The reverse of the print is handwritten in pencil the numbers "293". Format: Landscape, black and white, with white border. Print Finish: Gloss Taken during the 1972 Twenty-First Annual Convention of the Association of Desk and Derrick Clubs of North America, in Tulsa, Oklahoma (7-9 September 1972). Part of a collection of objects scrapbooked in 1972 by Lillias Ferguson (2004.2.1).
