Description

Set of three identical coasters, branded to Texaco. Features: A plastic rim with a metal center plate. The rim is a ring of plastic, with a 2mm depth and 5mm width on both sides. The top and base of the rim has two groove rings to texture the surface. Inside this rim is a metal surface, with a star design embossed in it (not a complete star, but lines suggesting the shape of a star). The metal is colored white. Within the star emboss is a printed red star, with a green-gold "T" inside, and the text "TEXACO" across the 'arms' of the star. Around this design (4mm from the rim) are two concurrent rings of black.

Cleanliness

Notable residue across surfaces, particularly one Coaster #2. Yellow/light brown dirt/residue as well as dust and particulates.

Surface

The colouring on top of the embossed star-like lines are worn from contact with other objects (mugs. glasses, etc), more-so on Coaster #2.

Notes

Third coaster on display in the Art Gallery not condition reported.
