Features: Collectable coin, bearing the image of Dave Hunter (heads-side) and branding for the Edmonton Oilers (tails-side). The coin was limited tender for $1.00 until May 1, 1964.
Heads-side: Frontal molding of Dave Hunter's face, below which is the text "DAVE HUNTER" following the curve of the coin. Dotted border around outside of the surface.
Tails-side: Round Edmonton Oilers' logo, with text "1983 EDMONTON OILERS DOLLAR" below, following the curve of the coin. Around the outside is a dotted border, broken by text at the bottom reading: "VALUE $1EXPIRES MAY 1, 1984 [UNIDENTIFIED]". Ridged edge.
Donated as part of an unofficial package along with two lapel pins from the same series (Robin Nodwell RN 110 Tracked Carrier, 1962; and Massey-Harris No.21 Self-Propelled Combine, 1942). Labeling on the packaging suggests the pins were produced by Canada Post. Similar packages can be found on Liveauctionworld.com.Collection

The 'tails' face has what appears to be adhesive residue on all raised surfaces. If packaged the same as the other examples of this coin (still is branded packaging), this side may have been secured with clear packing tape.

- Fine diagonal scratch above and beside "D" of Dave Hunter on 'heads' face.
- Single, horizontal point of denting, to left of Dave Hunter's face.
- Scratches/dents on left of 'heads' side rim, inline with chin of Dave Hunter.
