Description

Printed envelope, branded to the Texaco Touring Service. Addressed to Carol Haggerty, postmarked 27 June 1961. Features: Large format envelope with large print promoting the Texaco Touring Service. Green block with A chevron-shaped right side. Compass directions are drawn in black with black line illustrations of outdoor activities. In the center is the Texaco round logo and text: "TOUR WITH TEXACO". Along the bottom reads: "TEXACO TOURING SERVICE - ANOTHER TEXACO DEALER SERVICE". On the upper right is a printed postal stamp and postmark. Below is an indigo "PRINTED MATTER" ink stamp. In the center-right is typewritten Carol Haggerty's address. On the reverse, the envelope is sealed with a red button string closure.
