A large colour photographic print (glossy, landscape) of a small offshore rig and tanker ship, in water with visible floating ice. Adhered to the front of the print (now moved to the back) is a yellow post-it reading "SEDCO F, CONTRACTED TO SHELL CANADA LTD 1967 TO 1969 DRILLING 14 WELLS WEST OF VANCOUVER ISLAND & EAST OF QUEEN CHARLOTTE ISLAND". It is unclear if this post-it is related to the photograph or became attached by accident (less than ideal storage prior to accessioning). I suspect that may not be related, as the dates (1967 to 1969) don't appear to match the age of the photograph (appears to be 1980s-1990s at the earliest).Collection
