Features: A rectangular belt buckle, with rounded corners. The base is cast metal (likely brass), mounted in-which is a raised, curved block of wood. The buckle is curved.
Front Design: The metal base has a 2.5mm border, in-which is attached a taller (4mm above the metal base) block of wood with laser-cut elements etched in the top surface. The design is comprised of an icon logo (a horizontal divided ring, with two vertical lines on the outside: one from the midpoint on the left upward; and one from the midpoint on the right downward. In the centre of the ring is a simple stylized flame shape.) to the left, and text to the right. In large cursive text "Service is our tradition", in smaller text below "CANADIAN WESTERN NATURAL GAS"
Back Elements: The back has a texture of raised, scattered dashes. The hook (curved) and the hinge (rectangular with indented outer corners) are connected with a raised section. On the raised section is the maker's mark "Century CANADA".
Old Description (Kelsey Dalrymple, 3 June 2020): Canadian Western National Gas. "Service Is Our Tradition." Brass belt buckle with wooden face. Flame on left.Collection
