Laister-Kaufmann LK-10 CF-ZAJ is the oldest two-seat glider current airworthy and flying in Canada.
CF-ZAJ was built in 1943 as a TG-4A, serial number 96, for the U. S. Army. It was used to train
Army Air Force combat glider pilots. Post war, in 1947, it and a sister ship were purchased by the Queen's Gliding Club, and was an active training glider for that club through to the mid-1950s.
Purchased by Herrie ten Cate in 1995, the glider underwent a thorough restoration from 1998, returning to the skies in 2001, looking glorious.
