Christine Firth has been an active chronicler of Canadian soaring history for many years and in many fashions.
Her primary contribution was as the SAC Historian for the years 1980 through 1994. During that time, she assembled a large quantity of Canadian soaring ephemera, catalogued those materials to a standard acceptable to Library and Archives Canada, and lodged that collection in those Archives. The material is available for review, by researchers or all those with any personal interest, at the Archives Reading Room in Ottawa.
Articles written by Chris are among the most treasured items published in the SAC magazine Free Flight over the years. They include:
"The Crash of '29" https://www.wgc.mb.ca/static/freeflight/81_05.pdf page 6
