Description

This example of the Hutter H-17 design was built by the North Battleford Gliding Club, led by Fred and Charles Weber, in 1938. It was flown, and soared, extensively both before and after WWII. The Hütter Hü 17, is a German high-wing, strut-braced, single-seat, utility training glider that was designed by brothers Ulrich Hütter and Wolfgang Hütter in the 1930s. The design was made available as plans and as kits for amateur construction. Several hundred were completed, including several in Canada.
