Description
The Medicine Hat Soaring Association was formed in September 1947. Club equipment was the Schweizer TG-3A CF-ZAY and Dagling CF-ZAX (built in 1946 by the Lethbridge Soaring Club).
Circumstances wereagainst the club however, for the Medicine Hat Aero Club (which provided the tow-plane) folded and Norm Bruce (the gliding club’s instructor) moved to Red Deer. Both gliders were sold to the Red Deer group in late 1948.
