This piece suggests land and sky and was made with etching and monotype on mulberry paper handmade by Yuko. She then created rain drop texture by spraying or dropping water onto the wet kozo fiber. The vertical hatching with line etching that covers the entirety of the piece shows Yuko’s strong interest in mark making and suggests falling rain.
