"Much of my work is based on my observations in nature- its myriad of forms, colors, and patterns. I love watching things sprout, grow, and change. The little delicate sprout can push up through the heavy dirt over it to reach the sun. Seeing a new sprout brings me joy and hope as it represents new possibilities and growth. It reminds me to sprout and grow in my life, even if there is dirt in the way."
