The log house built by Will Heath in 1878-1879, Rawlins.
Update 2009: Black and white print Photo of a log house with a long pole in front (could have been a telegraph pole?). To the left of the house set back half way, is another section of the house. House shows wear and there is large weeds in front of the house. There is snow on the ground.
Printed on the back in blue ink: "No 178 Catalogue No1. U.P.R.R. public relations" "Old log house still standing in Rawlins, Wyo. Just off Highway 30 on Cedar St. Has not been occupied for many years. It was built by William Heath in 1878 and was made from old discarded telegraph poles. The Heaths lived here for a year and a half while Mr. Heath built the log house on Cedar St. where his daughter Mrs. Lillian Heath Nelson still lives in 1952." "Duplicate mounted." Emulsion shows bend marks right side, in corners, all four. Scratched left lower corner. Back shows dark coloring starting around edges.Collection
