update 2/2008: Black and white print, reprint? Snapshot. Image of a plaster cast of a man's head and a pair of shoes, one on either side of cast.
Written on the back in blue ink:"The plaster cast of Big Nose George's head[.] The shoes made from his skin for Dr. John E. Osborne who was assistant to Dr. Thomas Maghee. Dr. Maghee was the U.P. surgeon (physician) here at the time Big Nose George was hunt in 1881[.] U.P. picture[.]"
