A black and white scanned print of an oval studio portrait of Judge Charles W. Bramel. Image shows an older man wearing a dark suit jacket and a white shirt with high stiff collar with a black bowtie around the collar at neck edge. He has light colored eyes and a graying mustache. Oval is on top side left of a 7 1/2" x 11" sheet of photograph paper. Written on the bottom in black ink: Charles W. Bramel, Judge of Second Judicial Dist. of WY From Progressive Men of the State of WYo. Illustrated. Not Copyrighted. Chicago, Ill. 1903. Good condition. Paper has slight smudges on edges and few other dark marks from pen?.
Rans states that Judge Bramel served as the acting Carbon County Attorney in the 1870's, although he lived in Laramie.Collection
