Black & white studio portrait on white mat of a woman & man standing by a studio prop fence & outdoor backdrop. The woman wears a long white frilly dress & decorative hat. She holds a parasol to the floor in her right hand & her left is on a gate. The man wears a dark suit jacket, white shirt with bow tie, straw hat & medium colored pants. His right hand is on a partially open gate & his left elbow is on the opposite post & his left knee is in the opening. Printed at bottom: "A. A. Brown Photography Rawlins, Wyo."
Written on back in blue ink: "Unknown couple turn of 20th Cent. Picture taken at A.A. Brown's Studio near the west end of the 300 block of North Front St. Rawlins, WY. Studio was est. in early 1890's & closed out in 1903"
Fair condition. Creased, emulsion creased down center, liquid spots, scratched, accretion, paper missing, bottom corner bent & paper missing, soiled, grooves.Collection
