A bridle with the reins and quirt made of dyed horse hair by the Indians and given to Steve Rose, Sheriff who lived in Gayson, Kentucky around 1880. Mrs. Lee was Ruth Rose, niece of Steve Rose.
Update 2012: Highly decorated with horse hair, conches, diamond design in tan, red, blue hair attachments, light and dark color. Made by Native American's in the 1880's. Quirt- Horse hair in center, decorated in diamond design, loop on one end, straps on the other.
