Black and white print attached to white mat with tiny light green decorative border beneath print and the word "Brown" in green script at lower side left and Rawlins, Wyo on lower right corner. All edges have gold gilt. Photo shows two couples sitting at a small circular table covered with a white finged table cloth which has dark stripes on side. A woman with dark hair in an updo and wearing a checked patterned dress is holding a large decorative teapot and pouring into an extended cup being held by a man with dark hair, mustache and wearing dark clothing. the women are dressed in vintage dresses with leg of mutton sleeves. The man on photo side left is wearing a dark suit, white shirt and dark bow tie at neck. The woman on photo side right has a large white cup in her hand with her elbow bent as though in the process of bringing her cup upwards. Couple on photo side left have their teacups and saucers sitting on the table in front of them. A large checked pattern floor is seen at foreground. Background of photo is very dark and unable to see features.
Written on back in black script: "Taking Jan. 30th, 1898."
Good condition. Print has an irregular light angle at lower sides, right with darker exposure at top. There is a long vertical scuff mark side left and other, abrasions in emulsion at other locations. Surface has fingerprints, scratches, and soiling on all edges, including lower mat edge. There is a long black mark at top of back surface.Collection
