Photo of James Lee when he was a baby with his parents. He lived around Medicine Bow for many years and did many kinds of work. Was a long time cook at the Virginian Hotel. He died July, 1952.
Update 2009: Sepia print. Studio portrait. Mounted on tan matboard. Full length portrait of a man, woman, infant & dog. Painted backdrop behind. Man is seated at left with his left leg crossed over right; he is dressed in a dark 3-piece suit, white shirt, dark bow tie & boots. Woman is seated at right holding the infant who is seated slightly higher at center. Infant is dressed in long white christening gown. Framed photo can be seen between man & infant in background. Woman is wearing a long dark dress with long sleeves & high ruffled collar; rectangular belt buckle at waist. Small dog standing at center on floor.

Mounted on acidic matboard. Cut down from original size - edges rough & uneven. Pinhole at top center; dents & scratches in emulsion surface; badly soiled & scratched. Corner damaged. Mat back soiled; surface missing along left edge.Collection
