Photo of Jesse James' home and stockade at Excelsior Springs, Missouri. Rudolph Zingsheim met Frank James at the Springs and received this postcard with Frank's signature on it. Update 2009: Hand colored black and white print. Printed on postcard paper. Image of a wood structure in a wood and brick compound. Surrounded by trees. Structures set on a hill. Blue and white colorized sky. Written on original negative at bottom "View of the Jesse James and Bob Ford Home and Stockade". "Copy Righted by Fields and Fugit amusement Co. Excelsion Springs, MO." Unused. Printed on back in black ink: "[eagle] Post Card [eagle] "This side for writing" "Place Stamp here". [Vertically up left side] "Published by Smith Syndicate, Excelsion Springs, Mo." Written on back in pencil: "Frank James". Back soiled. Corner damage. Front dented in upper right; lower left corner bent-emulsion cracked. Emulsion surface soiled and scuffed.
