On the cover is the engraving entitled "The Grand Council Held at Crook's Headquarters on Goose Creek, June 15, 1876" which appeared on the cover in Frank Leslie's Illustrated Newspaper on Sept. 2, 1876. The white mailing cover is still attached, however, there is no name or address on the label.
