Moonlight scene on the Platte River, Saratoga, Wyoming.
Update - January 2010: Two original black & white prints, each attached to an ivory colored matboard. Image depicts a night scene of a meandering river with moonlight reflected on the water. Night views are similar to day view of 1953.207.0001. There are narrow white stickers attached to the lower edge of each matboard. Printed on each tag in black lettering: E. Weyle, Phot., S. F. CAL Moonlight Scene on the Platte River, Saratoga, Wyo. Image 2 also has the words: Battle Lake Mining District, Wyoming.
Image 1 - good condition. Soiling is on lower edge of mat & backside of mat. Dark scuff marks & abrasions on back of mat. Top surface has minor scratches throughout emulsion. A large black streak is at top center. Lower image has tiny white spots. Size 8 3/8 x 9 1/2"
Image 2 - good condition. Minor soiling on lower mat. Mat was cut down resulting in irregular, rough edges. Image surface has minor scratches & small dark streaks at various locations. Light soiling on matboard back. Size 9 3/4 x 9 3/8"Collection
