Surveyor's camp on Medicine Bow River, 1870
Update 5/2010: Black and white print, one copy print, & one scan of a tent camp beside a small stream. On photo left in the background is a log, open structure. In front of it is a light colored tent with men standing around. In a line left to right are three covered wagons and three more tents. More men and horses are by the wagons and more horses are on photo right. A tall leafless tree is on photo right . In foreground photo left is a jumbled pile of trees. Photo right is the stream winding through a gravel bed.
Original. Written on back in pencil: "Surveyors on Med. Bow River, 1870." In black ink: "Duplicate mounted." Stamped in black: "Frank J. Meyers, Photographer Rawlins, Wyoming."
Condition good. Irregular borders.
