Black and white 8 x 10 photo of a train wreck from July 8, 1952 at Wamsutter where two trains collided and destroyed the coal shute. Carl Sallade was the engineer of the West bound train.
Photo shows a UPRR car in the center off the tracks. Printed on the side "Pacific Fruit Express". There is a UPRR sign also on the car. There is wreckage to the right and left with power poles and lines in the background. A set of tracks with white rocks are in the foreground. Photo is in good condition, some warping.Collection
