Black and white 8 x 10 photo of a train wreck from July 8, 1952 at Wamsutter where two trains collided and destroyed the coal shute. Carl Sallade was the engineer of the West bound train.
Photo shows train cars piled up and into a coal shute 2-3 story building with is leaning. There are power poles and other wrecked train cars. In the middle is a wood snow fence running the length of the photo. Condition is good. Some warping and negative had some soiling.Collection
