Black & white print. Snapshot. Mounted on green matboard. Image of four teams of horses, each pulling buggies & wagons, posed on a dirt street. Post office sign on the building at left. People & baggage/bags on boardwalk at left. Buildings line both sides of the street. Hill in background. Hardware store sign seen in distance on top of building. Written on back in blue ink: "The stages ready to take the mail to there various destinations. Fritz Dennison in P.O. door. First stage next to P.O. door is stage going to Ferris at the east end of Ferris Mtns northeast of Rawlins. Mr. Frank Roberts driving stage. About 1898.
