Scope and Content

Check on the Banking House of James France signed by Jungquist and Hocker, 1885. Update 2021: A 3" x 5" printed promissory note dated Nov. 11, 1885 issued for 60 days to Jungquist and Hocker at Banking House of James France in the amount of $446.67 to Therman and Marsh with interest of 8%. Note due January 13. Document has a lithographic figure of a woman in a vintage dress and wearing an elaborate hairdo holding a sword in her left hand at side left.
