Aero Station, Rawlins
Update February 2011: Black & white contact print of an early day service station with ten vintage cars parked in & around the perimeter. Two signs on top of the roof read: "Aero Station". Some of the cars have advertising logos painted on them: "Star, the car for the millions with the million dollar motor", "Star Chassis low cost transportation", "Star Currant Motors." Seventeen men & two women are sitting, standing or leaning on the cars. Streetlights with glass globe tops line the street.
In white on lower right corner: "Meyers Photo".
Written on back in pencil: "Star cars" "Aero Station" "1925 #92 museum" "5th & Buffalo"
Good condition. Emulsion impacted by developing method of light spots, fingerprint, liquid spot, creased left side & bottom right corner. Size 8 x 10"Collection
