Strand Theater, 1921, Rawlins
Update - June 2010: Two black & white prints & one scanned copy. Image shows a brick two story building with three arched windows at top center front with two paned narrow windows on each side. These two windows have a white decorative background at sides & top culminating in a small pyramid decoration at the top. A narrow horizontal white insert is at center above the arched windows. Decorative draped bunting is hung across the building front. Lower level has two doors, billboards with one at side left advertising "The Scarlet West" & display window at side right has various objects displayed.
Written on back in black ink: "Strand Theater, built 1921.
Good condition. Print has minor scratches, brownish linear smudge type stain.
Second print. Written on back in black ink: "Cat 217"
Written on back in pencil: "Strand theater" "museum #223 1921 Picture room"
Good condition. Scratches, bends, corners worn. Size 8 x 10"
Scanned copy: 8 1/2 x 11". Written on back in black ink: 1921/22.
