Update - 2009: Black & white postcard: A photo of Rawlins taken from a high position. View is from the west facing east as you can see the old Pen in the far left of the photo. St. Josephs's Church & school can been seen near the center of the photo. The railroad tracks are in the foreground running from the lower left corner to the photo to the upper right corner of the photo. There is a train coming into town because of the steam plum in the upper right corner of the photo. Land is bare from the view point to the town.
Printed on front of postcard in black ink: "Bird's eye view, Rawlins, Wyo."
Printed on front in blue ink: "1915" Given to museum by Mr. Louis Cassinet Rawlins, Wyo.
Print on the upper right side half of back in Sepico. "Post Card" "Place stamp here" "domestic one cent foreign two cents"
Written in black ink in left side "Will send you a few local views. This was taken several years ago but it isn't much bigger today. Louis.
Corners of card are frayed & upper right corner has been bent. Edges of post card show wear.
Back has some dark stains around edges & across center.Collection
