Kinsilla Hotel, Battle, Jan. 12, 1904.
Update 2008: Black and white glossy reprint of the Kinsella Hotel, The Battle Rooming House in winter. The wooden hotel has two stories with a third front facade with the year 1900 in a small arch over the window under the apex of the top structure. The second floor has a center door and two windows on either side with a balcony porch across the entire width of the building. The focal point of the photo is a huge snow drift on the left side of the photo that is almost to the roof of the building with the snow drifting onto the second story balcony and front 1/2 bottom porch. Icicles are hanging off the roof edges on building side and front. Tall evergreen trees appear in background of hotel sides.
The photograph has many discolorations at top and sides of photo as well as splotches and tiny black dots. All appear to be as a result of negative processing.
Slight soiling photo back, smudged edges along photo border on sides, cracks in emulsion at various locations on surface. Slight vertical cracks at lower edges of photo.
