Three originals.
First original. Black and white print card of early day Front Street. Photo was taken in 400 block of Front Street of man kneeling with dog, another man standing to his left, two more men on his right. one is leaning on barrels and other is removing top. Sign on building behind them reads: "Short Order Capitol Restaurant". A barber shop pole and sign on photo left and Saloon on photo right . Printed at bottom in white on original negative: "FRONT STREET Rawling [sic] {Rawlins} Wyo." "108". Written on back in blue ink:"Kneeling-McCarty half brother of J.C. Clause" "Photograph taken 1898 lots 20, 21, and 22 block 23 400 block N. Front. Lot 12 Block 22 (Palace) 300 Block N. Front"} DK RB." Written in pencil: "Dwelling of Mrs.. Elizabeth Carr in 1883> 8/86-2/89 M.W. Dillon Cigar; 2/89-1890 M.W. Dillon Saloon. 1890-1895 Corner Saloon of ? Johnson. 1896 W. D. Printed in black on back: "Post Card" "Address" Square with "Place Stamp Here" partially rubbed out.
Condition good. Accretion, emulsion impacted, edges worn, soiled, writing on back impact emulsion, fingerprints, liquid stain.
Second original. Fair condition. Paper yellowed; liquid stains along bottom & sides. Holes in upper edge; emulsion cracked throughout; missing at center left on awning.
Third original. Written on back in blue ink: "Kneeling - McCarty or the half brother of J. Clausen?
Fair condition. Paper liquid stained on back at bottom; yellow spots on front. Fingerprint staining & scratches on emulsion. Soiled.Collection
