Frank in Apron. Update - 2009: Black & white print of three men standing on boardwalk in front of a store front on 100 Block of 5th St. Painted in window: "H.G. Wilcox Boots, Shoes, Made and Repaired". Sign above the door reads: "Hides, Pelts and Furs Bought Here". Men on right & left have on 3-piece suits, hats & ties. Man in center has on a long dark colored apron. Print is mounted on a cream colored mat. Written on bottom of mat in pencil: "Please return to Peverly 2col." Written on back in black ink: "Frank Froling's Shoe Shop - 1896" Written in pencil: "1904 Frank Froling in apron Fifth St between Front & Cedar on East side" "To Carbon County Museum from V. Froling" On a white adhesive tag written in black ink: "1904 Frank Froling in apron 5th St. between First and Cedar on east side" In black under 3 lines:Business F" Condition: Good. Mat soiled, liquid stain, stapled. Print; fingerprints, scratched, rubbed. 1 Copy: Written on back in pencil: "Building built in Jan 1886. Nov 1886 an addition was built. Sept. 1891 Geo. Volkart opened shoe store in Brinning bldg. Dec 1896 H. G. Wilcox purchased shop. Froling & Meals bought building in Aug 1899. Aug. 1899 Froling & Meals to Schalk bldg. two doors south on Alley" "Woolworths" "H. G. Wilcox shoe store on 5th St." Stamped on back in black: "Meyers Studio Rawlins, Wyoming" Condition: Good. Scratched, fingerprints, writing on back has impacted emulsion, indentations.
