Description

Serrated edge, like a double edge, small cross on hilt. "Waffenfabrik, Neuhausen" engraved on it. This German bayonet was called a "pioneer bayonet" The men that carried them were sent first before any troops to clear the way of bushes, branches, vines, trees, etc. This wasn't necessarily used on a weapon. Update 2017: Label says "Swiss Bayonet: made for the 'Swiss Karbiner model 1911 (engineers short rifle).
