View of Elk Mountain from Rawlins, 1909. Update 2012: Color card. Image of a railroad track in card center and high line poles on both sides. In the distance is a snow covered mountain. Clouds are above and behind, with a tint of blue above them. Printed across bottom border in black: "View of Elk Mountain, Rawlins, Wyoming". Printed on back in green: "POSTCARD" "This space may be used for correspondence" "This space is for the address only". Green 1 cent postage stamp with profile of Franklin. Postmarked "Rawlins, Wyo. May 17, 6pm 1909". Addressed to: "Miss Jennie Robertson 1206 Columbia St. Denver, Colo." Condition good. Soiled, liquid spot top right corner.
