Description

A dark blue plastic covered hard cover three ring binder used as a photograph album. A small white sticker is placed at top of spine with the number 7 written in black ink. (Photograph appears lighter than book actually is). Inside front cover has a 1 3/4" x 1 1/4" small white sticker with old newspaper clippings and postcards,K2 written in black ink. A second smaller sticker is placed at lower left with K2 written in black ink. Pages numbered to 17, with remaining pages not numbered. Book contains photographs, postcard photographs, newspaper clippings, and mementoes (money, bank notes, etc.) Photographs include: Old bridge over Platte, Fort Steele, WY; Lambing crew, 1908; cowboys, 1908; sheep ranching; 1908 reaping machine, horse drawn; 18 head horse and 4 wagons freight team on Buffalo Street; Lander Postcards; Cheyenne postcards; Laramie, 1906; Denver, 1905-08; Rock Springs, 1905-1907; William Heath house; Clippings: Sheep ranching; sheep shearing; 1908 society newpaper clipping ; several historical columns, 1917,1922,1933,1938; John Terrill; Spanish trappings; Tom Horn's spurs donation to museum; Harry L. Hays; Alfred White; County Old Timers; Con Ryan; John Childs; George Parsons. Good condition with some soiling and minor staining on outside covers. Minor yellowing of some pages.
