Jean Burnett in a kitchen taken in 1900 in Little Medicine Country. In 1965 Mrs. Burnett was 98 years old and living in the Valley Manor Rest Home in Casper.
Update 5/2010: Black and white print on cream colored mat. Image of a lady using a rolling pin on a board on top of a large wooden barrel. Barrel is banded with metal strips. Beside barrel is a wall table held up with one leg. On wall behind hand various cooking utensils, a wood shelf with cans, and a rack holding pan lids. There is also a galvanized bucket sitting inside a lower sided pan and another bucket hanging under the table. The lady has light colored hair, pulled up from her face and neck into curls. She is wearing a vertical stripe blouse with white collar and a long white apron tied at her waist. Written on a piece of white paper taped to the back in blue ink: "Jean Burnett this picture was taken in 1900 in Little Medicine Country. In 1965 Mr. Burnett was 98 years old an living in the Valley Manor Rest Home in Casper. " In pencil: "page 96, pix 2 1/8 x 3-31 1/2 %".
