Description

A black leatherette three ring binder used as a photograph album. Binder has a tiny square sticker on the upper spine with #29 written in black ink. inside front cover is a 1 3/4" x 1 1/4' off white sticker affixed to a piece of dried masking tape. Written in faded ink on tape is "34" and written on the sticker in ink is "Browns, Henkles, and Nelsons. " J. " The binder is 11 7/16" x 9 3/4".x 1 1/2" thick. This Larsen photo album is of family friends and associate and their get togethers of country outings in winter and summer; at homes in town, and at bars including the Elks and the Western Bar. The coarse brown binder papers have photos from the 1940's-1954 affixed to them with glue. (The white binder papers have photos from the early 1950's). Some of the people are identified as: Doc Brox; Morris and Effie Nelson, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Molander, Mr. and Mrs. Heck Zaring, Pal and Terry Holden, Brownie Hinkle and wife Wren, Tom Beedie, Hugo Hedlund. White pages also contain group photos of Elks Does, not all identified. Cabins at Larsenville. Good condition with wear on edges, white adhesive residue on spine at top, some soiling and marks on some pages. Few scuffs on front cover.
