On the back of the photograph are two stamps that read "RESTICTED" and "FOR OFFICIAL USE". There is also text that reads as follows: EUCOM 47 01443 27 MAY Credit - U. S. ARMY SIGNAL CORPS. PHOTOG - T/4 CHAMBERS 69th JULIUS LUDOLPH, GERMAN, IS SHOWN AFTER BEING PRONOUNCED DEAD BY THE MEDICAL OFFIC- ER. HE WAS HANGED AT 0956 AND DIED AT 1012. *L* LANDSBERG, GERMANY. Additional research - Julius Ludolph was executed for the murder and maltreatment of inmates at Mauthausen.
