Battle Mountain Mines.
Update 5/2010: A series of four black and white snapshots of a mining area in a mountainous, treed area. Typed on the back are the numbers as listed. This typing impacts the front emulsion.
#67: Image shows a deforested hillside with a wooden barnlike structure in distance . Patches of snow are in foreground. Felled logs are scattered throughout the hillside.
Written on back in pencil: "Battle Mountain Mine." Stamped on back in black ink: "Frank J. Meyers. Rawlins, Wyo."
Good condition. Minor wear on edges. Print has curling edges. Slight smudges on back.
#68: Image shows a valley with mountainous area in background and forested hillsides. A large slag heap is in center of image which has a narrow rail track, a cart and person are on this track at center of track. A wooden structures is seen at side right of the slag heap. Stamped on back in black ink: "CCM Box 52, Rawlins, Wy, 82301. " Stamped on back in black ink: "Frank J. Meyers Apr. 23 '65 Professional Photo Services."
Good condition. Slight curl to photo. Minor scratches and indents in emulsion.

Good condition. Wear on edges, corners. Minor scratches and cracks in emulsion, minor dimpling, brown droplet lower edge remnant.
