Description

Black and white scanned copy print. Image of First National Bank Building. Structure is a large multi-leveled brick with two large columns at sides of an arch double door entry. Four more flat columns, two on each side of entry decorate the building. The tops of all columns have wreaths and ornate emblems on them. Front of building has two small windows and two large windows with an inset above large windows with brick border. Side of building has six arches. Three are large windows and three lead to entry. Upper level has 6 windows across front and 14 windows on the side. Above windows is a section of larger stone with circular pattern embossed at intervals. Ornate protruding ridge is above that and a parapet adorns the top of building. A brick chimney is on top. A sign on side reads: Postal Telegram. On upper level, photo right window is: Law Offices. Four vintage cars are angle parked at curb on 4th street. Two men are talking on steps of building .Another man is standing at the corner on sidewalk. Two street lights are on street corners. Written in white on original negative: "First national Bank. Rawlins, Wyo. Meyers Photo." Printed on bottom: "First National Bank, Rawlins, Wy. Build 1923. A Frank Meyers photograph.
