Black and white scanned copy print of Central School. Building is a multi-level sandstone with a turret on the front corner, a spire tops the turret. To photo right of turret is arch double door entry. Approximately 10 steps lead up to entry. Hand rails are on both sides of steps. Children are on steps, on sidewalk and at top of steps going into building. Lower level has windows close to the ground. Second and third levels have many rectangular windows. Top of turret has arch windows with louvers. A wide chimney is seen on second level on back building addition. An indentation of wall is between two larger sections, where there are metal steps leading to a platform and door on back section. Two large pipe smokestacks are beside building. In the same area is entry way to underneath, one door is lifted and leaned against railing. Building is surrounded by a wrought iron fence. School was on 300 block of Pine Street.
Condition good.
Update 2016: 3.5" x 5" copy print from Meyers, 1973 (stamped in black on back). Written in pencil: Central School 1916, Rans black ink stamp is on the side right back. Soiling around back edges.Collection
