Description

A scrapbook with brown vinyl cover, 10 1/2" x 12 3/4". Eighty four pages that contain black and white pictures of Rawlins, Parco, the building of Seminoe Dam in the late 1930's, and Dr. and Mrs. Ranson B. Baker. Dr. Baker was the camp doctor during the construction, ca. 1936 to 1938. Fair condition: cover is soiled and worn, some pages have torn through the two ring binding. Pages are manilla colored paper and pictures have been glued or taped to them. Page 1. has pictures of the hospital in Rawlins, WY, Sanborn #Y-934; aerial view of Rawlins, Sanborn #Y-935; and downtown Rawlins, looking East with Dr. Batterton and Dr. Crandell's Offices marked, Sanborn #Y-937. Page 2. has pictures of Parco, WY Hotel and the Sinclair Refinery. Page 3. Begins pictures of the dirt road toward Seminoe Dam Site and scenery along the road. Page 5. Pictures of Dr. Baker at the Dam site hospital, the ambulance and other buildings. Page 7.
