A black & white print attached to ivory colored mat board which has been cut off. Image shows approximately five rows of men seated & standing in front of a stone building with the name Southern's Palace above awning. Building has four large oval windows. The first row of men are holding musical instruments. Side left shows a large drum lying on the ground. The men have white flat ribbons attached to their jackets on side left. Striped flags are seen in background. A dirt road is seen in foreground.
Good condition. Mat outer edges are soiled & yellowed. Side left mat has ink ? lines. Print has white opaque line at side left & lower edge from developing places. Several scrapes in emulsion & a slight tear at lower edge. Several dimples & scratches. Wrinkled mat edges.Collection
