Description

An 8 1/2" x 11 " scanned black and white print of many workmen unloading cut timber ties from top of railroad cars by loading them on a flat chute and sliding them down a flatbed. (there are two of these units, one at side left and one at side right. Cut timbers are stacked at side left on ground, and in a jumbled heap at foreground. Other workment are on the ground with long poles manipulating the logs. Printed on the lower edge in black print: Courtesy Union Pacific Railroad Museum. Brownsville Tie Mill near Fort Steele.
