Description

An aluminum souvenir token/medallion given to those who met the Union Pacific's Paramount picture special which came through Rawlins going to Omaha, NB for the premiere of Cecil B. DeMille's 1939 movie "Union Pacific." Token is 1 1/4" diameter. Front stamped "Cecil B. DeMille Motion Picture Union Pacific" in a circle around an 1860's locomotive. Back stamped "Union Pacific Road of the streamliners and the challengers" in a ring around the Union Pacific shield with a steam engine on the left and a streamliner on the right. Beneath the image is stamped: "Aluminum in these trains funished by Aluminum Co. of America".
